With more schools, funding from 21st Century grants, and hard work from staff, 91ߣӰÊÓ San Antonio can provide more students in the Edgewood Independent School District comprehensive afterschool programs. The district felt an impact as student test scores in the community increased.Ìý Ìý

Dr. Patricia Karam,ÌýPh.D.
Executive Director, After-School All-Stars San Antonio

When Dr. Patricia Karam became Executive Director of After-School All-Stars San Antonio in 2005, we had programs in 6 schools. Today, we have programs at 39 total sites.

Prior to working for All-Stars, Patricia was employed by the San Antonio Independent School District where she served as a teacher, counselor, DirectorÌý of Guidance Services, and Executive Director of Student Services, which includes counseling and guidance, social workers, health services, and adult and community education.
